Roberta Johnson

Roberta Irene (Phillips) Johnson, 84, of Rest Haven, Harvard, Nebraska, died Tuesday, June 8, 2004 at Harvard Rest Haven.

Memorial services will be Saturday, June 12, 2004; 10:00 A. M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Rev. Harold D. Stromer officiating. Private family interment will be at a later date. No viewing or visitation as Ms. Johnson was cremated

Ms. Johnson was born January 11, 1920 in Holdrege, Nebraska to Orlie C. & Vivian (Houlden) Phillips. She graduated from Holdrege High School, Holdrege, Nebraska and from Mary Lanning School of Nursing in 1942. She was a registered nurse at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital in Hastings and also at hospitals in Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas from 1942 until 1970, when she had to retire early because of her multiple sclerosis. She moved to Harvard Rest Haven in 1986.

Ms. Johnson was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Phillip Johnson.
