Robert "Bob" Shriver

Hastings resident Robert G. “Bob” Shriver, 84, passed away Friday, June 1, 2018, at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, NE.

Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 6, at Juniata United Methodist Church in Juniata with Rev. Dr. Lee R. Wigert officiating. Burial with military rites by Juniata American Legion will be in Juniata Cemetery in Juniata. Memorials may be given to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society – Nebraska Chapter. Visitation will be 9 a.m. - 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, and one hour prior to service at the church.

Bob was born November 1, 1933, in Hastings, NE to Paul D. & Vivian A. (Simnitt) Shriver. He served in the U.S. Army from 1956 to 1958. Bob married Connie Moore on November 28, 1960; she preceded him in death on April 14, 2014. He worked for Anheuser-Busch Distributing for 30 years.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Connie; sister, Shirley Killinger; and brother, Darrell Shriver.
