Ronald Aulner

Hastings resident, Ronald "Ron" L. Aulner, 55, passed away Monday, September 15, 2014 at Perkins Pavilion Good Samaritan Society-Hastings Village, Hastings, Nebraska.

Services will be Friday, September 19, 2014; 10:30 A.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings with Father Joseph M. Walsh officiating. Burial with military rites by Hastings Veterans Organizations will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date. Visitation will be Thursday, September 18, 2014; 1:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. with family present 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home, and one hour prior to the service at the church.

Ron was born November 20, 1958 in Hastings, Nebraska to Ken Sr. & Rogene (McCoy) Aulner. He graduated from Hastings High School in 1978 and served in the U.S. Navy from 1978 until 1984. Ron worked for Monforts in Grand Island, Nebraska and was a member of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church, American Legion, and National Rifle Association.

Ron was preceded in death by his brother, Dale Aulner; sister, Patti (Aulner) Wolzen; grandparents, John & Alta Aulner and Roger & Carrie McCoy; and step-grandfather, Charles Jacques.
