Ronald Brown

Hastings resident Ronald F. Brown, 79, passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2019, at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, NE.

Celebration of Life is 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 5, at Zion Lutheran Church in Hastings with Pastor Paul Warneke officiating. Burial is 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 5, in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Hastings. Visitation will be 1-7 p.m. Monday with family present 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to Zion Lutheran Church and School.

Ron was born January 26, 1940, in Hastings, NE to Benjamin & Gertrude (Siebels) Brown. He married Andrea Tranmer and they celebrated their 52 ^nd wedding anniversary. Ron was employed as a construction superintendent for Nash Finch and was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.

He loved fishing, hunting, camping, woodworking and most of all spending time with his grandkids. They loved their “Pops”.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents and his late wife Ardyce Augustin. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Andrea Brown; his children Sheryl (Kevin) Qualters, Christina (Michael) Korte, Nicole (Cecil Hicks) Brown and Brandon (Terri) Brown; his grandchildren Nicholas Qualters, Benjamin Qualters, Anna Korte, Andrew Korte, Alexander Korte, Norah Hicks, Emerson Hicks, Owen Brown, Ella Brown, Ian Brown; his brother, Robert (Karen) Brown; his brother-in-law Aaron (Diane) Augustin and numerous nieces and nephews.
