Ronald Fluckey

Ronald LaVern Fluckey, 68, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2016, at UNMC, Omaha, Nebraska.

Services will be Tuesday, April 19, 2016; 10:30 A.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings with Father Michael Houlihan officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the donor's choice. Visitation will be Sunday, April 17, 2016; 1P.M. - 5 P.M. and Monday, April 18, 2016; 4 P.M. - 7 P.M. at the funeral home. Visitation will also be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Tuesday.

Ronald was born on October 24, 1947 in Fremont, Nebraska to Marvin and Marian (Heubert) Fluckey. Ron graduated from Hastings High School in 1965 and was an avid Rifle Club member. Ron was a member of the 295th Army Reserve Unit out of York, Nebraska. Ronald will be remembered for his gentle demeanor, witty humor, and his love for his family especially his nieces and nephew playing board games he had given them at Christmas.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents and step-father, Arthur E. Kline.
