Ronald Glantz

Harvard resident, Ronald D. "Gus" Glantz, 62, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at his home.

Services will be Monday, June 27, 2016; 2:00 P.M. at United Church of Christ, Harvard with Pastor Dave Johnson officiating. Burial will be in First Evangelical Cemetery, north of Harvard. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date. Visitation will be Sunday, June 26, 2016; 1:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. with family present 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home, and one hour prior to service at the church.

Gus was born August 3, 1953 in Hastings, Nebraska to Ralph & Dorothy (Jordan) Glantz. He graduated from Harvard High School and attended Central Community College. Gus married Judy Hernbloom on May 24, 1975.

Gus farmed most of his life, owned his own light excavating business, and worked for the City of Harvard. He was a member of United Church of Christ, Harvard and Harvard Gun Club. Gus enjoyed hunting, trapshooting, and the outdoors.

Gus was preceded in death by his parents.
