Rosalie A. "Rose" Christy

Hastings resident Rosalie A. “Rose” Christy, 85, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2024, at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, NE.     

Private family interment will be held at Grace United Methodist Church Columbarium. Visitation will be 1-7 p.m. with family present 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, February 6, at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to Grace United Methodist Church. 

Rose was born May 25, 1938, in Neosho Rapids, KS to Abraham Lee and Dollie (Bigler) Colglazier. She graduated from Hartford High School in Hartford, KS. Rose married Earl E. Christy on June 9, 1957, in Hartford, KS; he preceded her in death on December 17, 2023. She was a homemaker and a member of Grace United Methodist Church. Rose enjoyed her family very much especially her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was also an avid sports fan. 

Rose was preceded in death by her parents, Abraham Lee and Dollie (Bigler) Colglazier, and husband, Earl E. Christy.
