Rose Beyke

Hastings resident, Rose M. Beyke, 65, of 1315 Turner Avenue, died Monday, September 3, 2007 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.

Rosary will be Friday, September 7, 2007; 7:30 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, September 8, 2007; 10:30 A.M. at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church with Father Larry Gyhra officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 5, 2007; 5PM-9PM, Thursday, September 6, 2007; 9AM-9PM, Friday, September 7, 2007; 9AM-9PM at the funeral home & Saturday, September 8, 2007; 1 hr. prior to service at the church. Memorials to Rose M. Beyke Memorial Fund.

Mrs. Beyke was born August 29, 1942 in Milford, Nebraska. Her parents were Julius & Rose (Drudik) Mazour. She attended Sacred Heart Catholic Grade School and graduated from Lawrence High School, Lawrence, Nebraska in 1960. She graduated from Ben Your Hairdresser Beauty School in Lincoln, Nebraska. She moved to Hastings, Nebraska in 1962 and married John E. Beyke on June 19, 1962 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lawrence. She was a homemaker and the manager of the factory coffee shop at Dutton-Lainson's for 23 years. She also worked at the Knights of Columbus. She was a member of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church and the Altar Society.

Mrs. Beyke was preceded in death by her parents and an infant sister, Charlene.
