Rose I. Mousel, 92, of The Kensington, died Saturday, October 5, 2002 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.
Rosary service will be Tuesday, October 8, 2002; 7:30 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, October 9, 2002; 10:30 A.M. Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Roseland, Nebraska with Father Thomas Au officiating. Burial will be in Roseland Cemetery, Roseland, Nebraska.
Rose I. Mousel was born August 2, 1910 in Petersburg, Nebraska to John & Mary (Theisen) Schmitz. She married Vincent Willmes on December 26, 1935 in Funk, Nebraska and he preceded her in death on January 7, 1954. On September 11, 1956, she married Gerhard Mousel at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Roseland, Nebraska and he preceded her in death in November 24, 1987. She lived in Hastings, Nebraska for the past 12 years, moving from Roseland, Nebraska. She was a homemaker and member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and its Altar Society, Roseland, Nebraska.
Rose I. Mousel was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Vincent Willmes and Gerhard Mousel, siblings, Alvina Bourg, Pauline DeMars, Ray Schmitz and infants, Margaretha Schmitz, twins, Maria & Marvin Schmitz, Evelyn Schmitz and Carl Schmitz.
