Ruby Lukas

Hastings resident, Ruby Lukas, 102, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2017, at Blue Hill Care Center.

There will be no services.

Ruby was born May 1, 1915 near Inavale, Nebraska to Joseph & Louise (Konfrst) Sidlo. Ruby married Frank Lukas on March 11, 1947. They farmed five miles East of Blue Hill until their Retirement, then moved to Hastings in 1977. Ruby loved to dance, She and Frank went to numerous dances when they were younger. Ruby enjoyed sewing, crocheting and cross- stich embroidery. She followed Husker Football and New York Yankees Baseball.

Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph & Louise; husband, Frank; and brother, Edward.
