Former Hastings resident, Russell Lee Fitzke, 43, of Lebanon, Missouri, was called home unexpectedly at work on Monday, November 12, 2007 in Lebanon, Missouri.
Memorial service was held Wednesday, November 14, 2007; 10:30 A.M. at Shadel's Colonial Chapel, Lebanon, Missouri. Services will be Saturday, November 17, 2007; 10:30 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Pastor Renee Johnson officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Churchyard Cemetery, west of Glenvil, Nebraska. Visitation will be Thursday, November 15, 2007; 5 PM-9PM, Friday, November 16, 2007; 1PM-9PM with family present from 6PM-8PM & Saturday, November 17, 2007; 9AM until service time at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the family.
Mr. Fitzke was born December 18, 1963 in Hastings, Nebraska to Robert Lee & Marilyn Kay (Stromer) Fitzke. He attended Adams Central Jr. Sr. High School. He was a C & C lathe operator for Regal-Beloit Corporation at the time of his death.
Mr. Fitzke was preceded in death by his grandparents, Orville Fitzke, and Paul & Mabel (Kissinger) Stromer.
