Russell Sheets

Hastings resident, Russell William Sheets, 59, 1008 N. Hewett, died Tuesday, December 6, 2005 at his home.

There will be no services. The remains will be cremated.

Mr. Sheets was born February 17, 1946 in Hastings, Nebraska to Ivan & Julia (Peters) Sheets. He grew up in rural Trumbull, Nebraska and graduated from Trumbull High School. He attended Kearney State College for two years. He moved to Hastings with his mother in 1970. He worked as a dispatcher for the Hastings Fire Department and also for Dutton Lainson.

Mr. Sheets was preceded in death by his parents.
