Ruth N. Christoffersen, 96, of Hastings, Nebraska died Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at Perkins Pavilion at Good Samaritan Village in Hastings, Nebraska.
Services will be Saturday, July 30, 2005; 10:30 A.M. at Pleasant Green Assembly of God Church near Agra, Kansas with Reverend Darrell E. Schmid officiating. Burial will be in Germantown Cemetery, Kensington, Kansas.
Mrs. Christoffersen was born August 5, 1908 in Kensington, Kansas to Herman & Nettie Mae (Bradley) Rosenberg. She married Floyd Christoffersen on December 24, 1924 in Smith Center, Kansas. She grew up in Phillips County, Kansas. Ruth and Floyd farmed in Phillips County until his death in 1965. She was employed by Good Samaritan Village in the laundry department. She moved to Hastings in 1969 from Downs, Kansas. She was a member of the North Shore Assembly of God church in Hastings and was a member of the Christian Women's Club.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; husband Floyd; one sister; four brothers; son, Ivan; Daughter-in-law, Roberta; Son-in-law, Ken; and Great-Grandson, Adam Bruna.

VISITATION: Friday, July 29, 2005 - 1:00 to 9:00 P.M. at Butler-Volland Funeral Home with family present from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
