Ruth Lyngstad

Ruth Bertha Lyngstad, 86, of 718 So. Bellevue, died Wednesday, March 12, 2003 at her home.

Services will be Saturday, March 15, 2003; 10:30 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Pastor Dan Heuer officiating. Burial will be in Blue Valley Cemetery, Ayr, Nebraska.

Ruth Bertha Lyngstad was born December 5, 1916 in Rush Lake Township, Minnesota to Albert W. & Bertha F. (Wandekow) Muller. On November 9, 1936, she married Marvin Lyngstad in Fergus Falls, Minnesota and he preceded her in death in May 1999. They moved to Hastings, Nebraska in 1951. She was a cook at various cafes and at Sunnyside Home, retiring in 1978. She also worked as a housekeeper at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.

Ruth Bertha Lyngstad was preceded in death by her parents, husband Marvin 2 grandchildren, 1 sister and 2 brothers.
