Ruth Nelson

Ruth E. Nelson, 82, of Blue Hill Care Center, died Saturday, November 4, 2000 at the Blue Hill Care Center, Blue Hill, Nebraska.

Services will be Tuesday, November 7, 2000; 10:00 at Butler-Volland Chapel with Rev. Jim Miller officiating. Burial will follow at 1:00 P.M. at Norman Cemetery, Norman, Nebraska.

Ruth E. Nelson was born April 16, 1918 in Juniata, Nebraska to Harry S. & Ella L. (Kent) Graham. She graduated from Hastings High School and in March of 1940, she married Carl Konen. He preceded her in death in 1948. In June of 1956, she married Ray E. Nelson and he preceded her in death in 1976. She was a secretary for Dobberstein Roofing Company in Kearney, Nebraska for 15 years.

Ruth E. Nelson was preceded in death by her parents; 2 husbands, Carl Konen & Ray E. Nelson; 1 son, John Konen; 1 sister and 5 brothers.

Survivors include, Half Sister, Harriet McFeely - Hastings, NE; Step Son, Kyler Nelson - Fremont, NE; Step Daughters, Jemna Swindell - Riverton, WY; Granddaughters, 2; Great Grandchildren, 6; Several Step Grandchildren & Great Grandchildren; Step Mother, Murl Zimmerman - Hastings, NE

Memorial maybe given to Meals On Wheels
