Ruth Ruby

Hastings resident, Ruth L. 'Tiny' Ruby, 60, died Thursday, November 24, 2005 at her home.

Services will be Monday, November 28, 2005; 1:00 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Rev. Earl Higgins officiating. Graveside service and burial will be Tuesday, November 29, 2005; 2:00 P.M. at Maywood Cemetery, Maywood, Nebraska with Rev. Dale Himer officiating.

Mrs. Ruby was born November 12, 1945 in Maywood, Nebraska to Ralph & Edith G. (Kahler) Littell. She graduated from Maywood High School in 1964 and from McCook Beauty Academy, McCook, Nebraska in 1965. She worked for TRW in McCook and on March 19, 1971, she married William Ruby in McCook, Nebraska. They moved to Hastings, Nebraska in 1974. She was a homemaker until 1987 when she began working for Marshalltown until 2003 when she was diagnosed with 'Lou Gehrig's (ALS) disease.

Mrs. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents and numerous sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
