On March 11, 1986, God gave Scott and Mary their greatest gift, a beautiful daughter, Sara. She had a very happy childhood. Playing with the neighbors, going fishing, and hunting with Dad. When she was old enough, she played softball and loved it. She was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes when she was nine. Finger pricks, shots, and diet became a part of her life.

She graduated from high school in 2004. She went on to get an Associate’s Degree and became a Radiological Technologist. She worked at several Urgent Cares and Nebraska Orthopedics.

She was a kind, funny woman who was loyal to her friends and family. She loved horse racing, especially going to the Breeders Cup. She loved all her dogs and cats.

Her favorite vacation was whale watching in Canada, and going to Florida to Sea World. She also loved her yearly trips to Steamboat to ski in the winter and ride horses in the summer.

Sara was called home to be with her Savior on April 1, 2024. She will be missed by all that knew her, Mom and Dad; Aunts and Uncles; Cousins; many friends; and boyfriend, Zac.
