Scott Crawford

Doniphan resident, Scott Lee Crawford, 48, passed away Monday, November 28, 2011 at BryanLGH Medical Center East in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Services will be Saturday, December 3, 2011; 10:30 A.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings with Pastor Tom Murray officiating. Burial will be in Concordia Cemetery, rural Juniata, Nebraska. There will be no viewing; book signing will be Thursday, December 1, 2011; 9:00 A.M. - 8:30 P.M. with family present from 6:30 P.M. - 8:30 P.M., Friday, December 2, 2011; 9:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M., and Saturday, December 3, 2011; 8:30 A.M. - 10:30 A.M. at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the Scott Lee Crawford Memorial Fund for medical expenses or Crossroads Center Rescue Mission.

Scott was born July 17, 1963 in Lexington, Nebraska to Gaylord Lee & Carolyn Jean (Schutte) Crawford. He moved from Lexington to Wahoo, David City and then to Hastings in 1971. Scott married Peggy Brown on September 3, 1983; they moved to Doniphan in 1988 where they owned and operated Willow Lake Fish Hatchery.
