Scott Munger

Juniata resident, Scott C. Munger, 60, passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2017, at his home.

Services will be Tuesday, September 12, 2017; 10:30 A.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings with Rev. Dr. Lee R. Wigert officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings. Memorials may be given to Scott C. Munger Memorial Fund to be designated at a later date. Visitation will be Sunday, September 10, 2017; 1:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M., Monday, September 11, 2017; 9:00 A.M. - 8:00 P.M. with family present 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M., and one hour prior to service at the funeral home.

Scott was born February 15, 1957, in Lincoln, Nebraska to Robert Lynn & Arminta Eileen (Wampler) Munger. He attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and received his Associates Degree in Mechanics from Central Community College in Hastings. Scott married Holly Dee Pfeiffer on August 15, 1982, in Doniphan, Nebraska; she preceded him in death on September 25, 2012.

Scott owned and operated Bernardo's Steakhouse in Hastings. He was a master scuba diver, aviator, loved to fish and hunt, computer guru, was a mechanic, enjoyed playing his guitar, and loved various kinds of music.

Scott was preceded in death by his wife, Holly Munger; mother, Arminta Miller; father, Robert Munger; sister, Mary Barg; and brother, John Munger.
