Scotty Duncan

Scotty William Duncan of Hastings, Nebraska, son of Kenneth & Vera (Ritchie) Duncan, was born on December 10, 1954, in Flagler, CO. He died of cancer on September 13, 2018, at the age of 63. He graduated from Superior High School in 1973. He married Pat Wilhelms in 1976. They had one daughter, McKayla, then adopted and guardianshipped nine children; John Bryan, Micheal, Jim, Jerimiah, Dylan, John, Lisa, Emmanual, and Kingsten. He also raised several foster children. Family meant a lot to Scott and he spent as much time with them and their activities as he could. He enjoyed gardening. He not only had a garden at home, he helped with the garden at Hastings Middle School and several other gardens.

He is survived by his wife, Pat of 42 years, his children, parents, brother, and sisters, as well as many other family members and friends.

There will be a Celebration of Scott’s life with Family and Friends on Saturday, September 22 from 2 – 4 p.m. at the Community Center in Good Samaritan Village, 900 East E Street, Hastings NE 68901. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the family.
