Former Hastings resident, Sebert W. Keim, 91, of Nebraska Veterans Home, Grand Island, Nebraska, died Monday, July 9, 2001 at Nebraska Veterans Home.
Services will be Thursday, July 12, 2001; 10:00 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Rev. Doug Griger officiating. Burial with military rites will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.
Sebert W. Keim was born August 4, 1909 in Geneva, Nebraska to Eli & Lucy (Crumwell) Keim. He served in the United States Army during WWII from March 12, 1942 until January 14, 1944. On June 26, 1965, he married Grace (Brown) Breckner and she preceded him in death in 1997. He farmed near Nelson, Nebraska until 1971 when they moved to Hastings, Nebraska. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and a past member of the Eagles.
Sebert W. Keim was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Grace, 2 brothers, 1 sister and 1 step-son.

Memorial maybe given to Good Samaritan Village or First United Methodist Church
