Hastings resident, Sharon L. Conklin, 75, passed away Friday, March 28, 2014 at Perkins Pavilion Good Samaritan Society-Hastings Village, Hastings, Nebraska.
Private family services and burial will be held at a later date. Memorials may be given to the family.
Sharon was born March 14, 1939 in Fairbury, Nebraska to Rosalie (Richey) & Max Haskin and raised by Harry & Rosalie (Richey) Gentert. She graduated from Harvard High School. Sharon married Clyde Rice; they later divorced. She worked at Mode O'Day, USA Inn as a desk clerk, and other various jobs. Sharon was a member of Eagles Auxiliary.
Sharon was preceded in death by her father; mother; step-father; two sisters, Roseanna Pritts and Jeannete Gentert; two brothers, Dean Haskin and Charles Haskin; and daughter-in-law, Julie Rice.
