Sharon Connor

Hastings resident, Sharon K. Connor, 75, passed away Thursday, October 12, 2017 at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, Nebraska.

Rosary will be Monday, October 16, 2017; 6:30 P.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings. Memorial Mass will be Tuesday, October 17, 2017; 10:00 A.M. at All Saints Chapel - Good Samaritan Village, Hastings with Father Joseph M. Walsh officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date. Book signing will be Saturday, October 12, 2017; 1:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. and Monday, October 16, 2017; 9:00 A.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home, one hour prior to service at the chapel.

Sharon was born February 23, 1942 in Hastings, Nebraska to Edward J. & Lillyanna (Dalluge) Faimon. She graduated from North Platte St. Pat's High School, North Platte, Nebraska and received her Associates Degree in business administration from Red Rocks Community College in Denver, Colorado. Sharon married James D. Connor on August 29, 1982 in Denver, Colorado.

Sharon was employed by the University of Colorado in the Physician Assistant program as an administrative assistant where she later retired. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Benedictine Oblates in Yankton, South Dakota, St. Michael's Church Choir, and was an avid quilter with the Saints quilting group at St. Michael's Catholic Church.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Gary Faimon.
