Sherie Schroeder

Kenesaw resident, Sherie Lynn (Kiiker) Schroeder, 56, passed away Monday, October 8, 2012 at Haven Home, Kenesaw, Nebraska after a lengthy illness.

Memorial Services will be Monday, October 15, 2012; 10:00 A.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings with Pastor Paul Dunbar officiating. There will be no viewing or visitation. Memorials may be given to the family.

Sherie was born July 28, 1956 in Hastings, Nebraska, the daughter of Leonard & Barbara Kiiker. She graduated from Trumbull High School in 1975. Sherie and Steven Schroeder were united in marriage in September 1976. She worked at Safeway as a cake decorator for many years and later cleaned homes for many Hastings residents. Sherie's greatest passion in life was being a wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, water skiing, fishing, boating, cooking for family and friends, and weekends at her lake home.

Sherie was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara; and brother, Steven Kiiker.
