Shirley Nelson

Sutton resident, Shirley Mae Nelson, 81 years 11 months and 2 days, went to see our Lord on April 14, 2017 at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, Nebraska.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date. There will be no viewing or visitation.

Shirley was born May 12, 1935 to Harold and Alice (Zacharias) Rogers in Bowbells, North Dakota. On January 4, 1953 she married Lonnie L. Nelson in Portal, North Dakota. She enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. She also never missed a baseball game!

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband; two brothers; one sister; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.
