Shirley Shreve

Hastings resident, Shirley J. Shreve, 80, passed away Sunday, January 4, 2015 at Haven Home, Kenesaw, Nebraska.

Services are Friday, January 9, 2015; 10:30 A.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings with Pastor Greg Lindenberger officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the funeral home on Friday. Memorials may be given to the Alzheimer's Association.

Shirley was born April 20, 1934 in Hastings, Nebraska to Noah & Selma (Seng) Copple. She graduated from Hastings High School. Shirley worked as a secretary for Friends Trucking and a cashier at Allen's. She was also a buyer for Ben Shermans Clothing and a partner in S & H Truck Shop. Shirley was a member of First Christian Church Disciples of Christ. She enjoyed her family and grandchildren and attending their activities.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Gerald Copple; and granddaughter, Megan Shreve.
