Stacy Jo Meyer

Hastings resident Stacy Jo Meyer, 47, found peace Thursday, May 4, 2023, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, NE.    

Stacy attended Hastings High School and Bahner College Hair Design. She was a stylist for 27 years. Stacy was always the smile you could count on and a hero for the underdog. She loved her family especially her three sons who were her pride and joy. She loved animals, especially her little sidekick Bowie. She loved being outdoors, watching her boys at sports events, as well as camping, fishing, and listening to music.

A Celebration of Life will be 2 p.m. Friday, May 12, at Butler Volland Chapel in Hastings with Pastor Kathy Uldrich officiating. A private burial has been scheduled at a later date at the Republican City Cemetery. Visitation will be an hour before the service with the family present. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Stacy Meyer Memorial Fund.

Stacy had three nephews and two nieces that she adored as well and a multitude of friends.
