Stanley Jarzynka

Harvard resident, Stanley "Bub" V. Jarzynka, 61, passed away Monday, June 4, 2012 at his home.

Services will be Friday, June 8, 2012; 2:00 P.M. at United Church of Christ, Harvard, Nebraska with Pastor Dave Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Harvard Cemetery, Harvard, Nebraska. Visitation will be Thursday, June 7, 2012; 12:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home, and one hour prior to service at the church. Memorials may be given to the family.

Bub was born February 2, 1951 in Loup City, Nebraska to Stanley B. & Ivy Jarzynka. He attended Harvard High School. Bub married Sandra S. Kiiker on February 14, 1975. He was an active member of the Harvard Gun Club and served as President for several years. His hobbies included riding his Harley, hunting, fishing, scrapping iron, spending time with his kids and grandkids, and was known for 4th of July fireworks and playing Santa Claus for his grandchildren.

Bub was preceded in death by his father, Stanley B. Jarzynka; sister, Mary-Lynn; and granddaughter, Fernie Dayle Pair.
