Sue Crabtree

Hastings resident Sue Carol Crabtree, 64, passed away Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Goldbeck Towers in Hastings, NE.

Memorial Services are 11 a.m. Thursday, June 28, at Butler Volland Chapel in Hastings with Pastor Andrea Paulson officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery in Hastings. Memorials may be given to First St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Book signing will be Wednesday, June 27 ^th between 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. at the funeral home.

Sue was born September 7, 1953 to Kenneth and Millie Crabtree of Hastings, NE. She graduated from Hastings High School in 1972 and Central Community College of Hastings in 1975.

Sue was employed for many years at the Hastings Regional Center as a transcriptionist and later as a sales associate at Walmart, retiring in 2015. She was a long-term member of First St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and served as a church day care volunteer for over 25 years. Sue was also active in the Hastings Elks Does-Drove 112 for many years. She enjoyed greatly the contact of her friends and family.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents.
