Terence Erickson

Hastings resident, Terence E. Erickson, 81, passed away Sunday, August 22, 2010 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital, Hastings, Nebraska.

There will be no visitation. A private family service will be held.

Terence was born January 19, 1929 south of Hebron, Nebraska to John A. & Ruby (Murray) Erickson. He graduated from Hebron High School in 1947. On December 11, 1949 he married the love of his life, Dorothy Gerard. They were married for 60 years and had two sons. He worked as a farmer and truck driver, and also worked for Payway Feed & Central Soya in Hastings. He loved traveling and attending his class reunions.

Terence was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, John Erickson and Tom Erickson; and sister, Dorothy Faye.
