Terry Robertson

Harvard resident, Terry "Herbie" Robertson lost his battle with cancer on October 14, 2014.

A Celebration of Life will be Thursday, July 2, 2015; 2:30 P.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings with Pastor Dorothy Aspegren officiating. The family requests that those attending the service to dress casually. Terry preferred comfort over fashion.

Terry was born July 2, 1949 to Herb and Betty (Belden) Robertson in Hastings, Nebraska. He graduated from Harvard High School in 1967. He later received an Associate's Degree in accounting from Central Community College in 2003. Terry married Marsha Helzer on October 20, 1967. This marriage was blessed with two children, Michelle and Kris. Initially, Terry worked at the Ordinance Plant in Grand Island then briefly at the State Department of Roads. After that, he was employed at Hastings Industries, where he worked as a welder for 31 years. Terry lived, he loved and he laughed.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Val; and sister, Becky.
