Thelma Davis

Thelma R. Krieger Davis, 97, of Rosebrook Care Center, Edgar, Nebraska died Monday,
July 26, 2004 at Rosebrook Care Center.

Services will be Friday, July 30, 2004; 10:00 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel, Hastings, Nebraska with Rev. Jim Miller officiating. Burial will be in Grand Island City Cemetery, Grand Island, Nebraska.

Ms. Davis was born March 3, 1907 in Otego, Kansas to Frank & Laura A. (Hall) Modlin. She graduated from high School and attended college. She married Henry Krieger on February 9, 1935 and he preceded her in death on September 17, 1964. She married Albert Davis on December 31, 1969 and he preceded her in death on August 27, 1992. She worked for Drs. McGrath in Grand Island, Nebraska. She moved to Hastings in 1969 coming from Grand Island. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Eastern Star - Acacia Chapter #39 and the Daughters of th Nile.

Ms. Davis was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Henry Krieger and Albert Davis and 1 sister Glendora Lawrence.

Memorial may be given to First United Methodist Church

VISITATION: Thur: 7-29-04 1pm-9pm
Fri: 7-30-04 1 hour prior to service at funeral home
