Thomas Riley

Hastings resident, Thomas P. Riley, 74, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2012 at Mary Lanning Memorial HealthCare, Hastings, Nebraska.

Memorial services will be Wednesday, April 4, 2012; 11:00 A.M. at Butler Volland Funeral Home, Hastings with John Walsh officiating. There will be no visitation as Thomas was cremated. Memorials may be given to the family.

Thomas was born October 30, 1937 in Dearborn, Michigan to Ezra & Ruth (Pewitt) Riley. He graduated from Dearborn High School and attended college in Colorado. Thomas married Elizabeth "Betty" Walsh on December 1, 1962 in Los Angeles, California. He served active duty in the U.S. Army for 33 years, worked as an electronic technician, and was a member of National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association. He enjoyed photography, traveling, and gardening.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Walter Riley.
