Thomas L. Schneider, 58, of 1230 North Colorado, Hastings, Nebraska died Tuesday, July 26, 2005 at the V A Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska.

Rosary will be Friday, July 29, 2005; 7:30 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, July 30, 2005; 10:00 A.M. at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church with Father Larry Gyhra officiating. Burial with military rites will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.

Thomas L. Schneider was born May 3, 1947 in Adrian, Minnesota to Gilbert & Mary (Thul) Schneider. He moved from Minnesota to Hastings, than to Maine, to Florida and back to Hastings in 1995. He served in the United States Navy for over twenty years retiring in 1992. He was a truck driver for Red & White in Hastings. He married Tammy Halte on July 5, 1996 at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church. He was a member of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church, V.F.W. Lifetime, D.A.V. Lifetime, American Legion and Eagles all in Hastings. He also was a member of the Elks in Maine.

Thomas L. Schneider was preceded in death by his father and brother Jeff Schneider.
