Thyra Hulsker

Former Hastings resident, Thyra A. Hulsker, 85, of 10101 Palmeras Dr. #234, Sun City, Arizona, died Sunday, March 10, 2002 at John C. Lincoln Hospital, Phoenix, Arizona.

Services will be Saturday, March 16, 2002; 10:30 A.M. at First Presbyterian Chapel with Rev. Matt Nieman officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.

Thyra A. Hulsker was born October 9, 1916 in Kearney, Nebraska to Albert Lee & Rhea (Smith) Moore. She graduated from Minden High School, Minden, Nebraska and attended the University of Nebraska, Lincoln and passed the Pharmacy exam. She married Edwin Fay Hulsker on September 7, 1937. She was in charge of Mary Lanning Pharmacy from 1947-1948. They opened Fay's Hastings Drug Store in Hastings in 1948 and continued ownership for 30 years.

Thyra A. Hulsker was preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother, LaGrant Moore.
