Timothy Mieth

Glenvil resident, Timothy "Tim" Duane Mieth, 49, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, Nebraska.

Services will be Saturday, November 16, 2013; 10:00 A.M. at Hastings Berean Bible Church, Hastings with Pastor Paul Knott officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society or the Tim Mieth Memorial Fund. Visitation will be Friday, November 15, 2013; 4:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. with the family present 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home, and one hour prior to service at the church.

Tim was born October 9, 1964 in Grand Island, Nebraska to Duane "Dewey" & Colleen (Teichmeier) Mieth. He graduated from Loup City High School in 1983 and attended Central Community College in Hastings. Tim married Brenda Hendricks on May 11, 1996 in Hastings, Nebraska. He worked as a mechanic for Nebraska Machinery Company in Doniphan, Nebraska and for Monfort (later became Conagra Foods) for several years. Tim was a member of Hastings Berean Bible Church. He enjoyed hunting and was a hard worker; he was always willing to help anyone.

Tim was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Frank & Christal Teichmeier; and paternal grandparents, Carl & Iola Mieth.
