Teresa 'Tracy' Mace, 83, of Hastings, Nebraska, died Thursday, February 22, 2001 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.
Rosary Thursday, March 1, 2001; 9:45 A.M. at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:00 A.M. with Father Christopher Kubat officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.
Teresa 'Tracy' Mace was born October 15, 1917 in Bridgeport, Nebraska to Henry & Pauline (Ulman) Miller. She moved with her family to Hastings, Nebraska in the 30's. She married Floyd Mace in Grand Island, Nebraska on December 30, 1950. He preceded her in death in 1985. She worked at Swift's Hatchery, Navy Ammunition Depot, Ivanhoe, Chef LeLane's, Sportsman and the Hastings Regional Center where she retired in 1980 after 15 years of service. She made numerous quilts for unwed mothers and the poor. She was a member of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church, and a volunteer at Catholic Social Service and Helping Hands Ministry.
Teresa 'Tracy' Mace was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Floyd and a daughter; Marcia and 15 brothers and sisters.
