Tress Brink

Grand Island resident, Tress T. Brink, 89, passed away Sunday, August 8, 2010 at Golden Living Center-Lakeview Nursing Home, Grand Island, Nebraska.

Graveside services will be Friday, August 13, 2010; 11:00 A.M. at Parkview Cemetery, Hastings with Pastor Tony Anderson officiating. There will be no visitation. There will be a book signing Thursday, August 12, 2010; 9:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to donor's choice.

Tress was born April 11, 1921 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She graduated high school in Indiana. On December 31, 1942 she married Donald Goedert in Indianapolis, Indiana, and they later divorced. In 1963, she married Howard Brink. He preceded her in death in 1985. They owned their own furniture store and managed an apartment complex in California.

Tress was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Howard Brink.
