Troy Zubrod

Hastings resident Troy A. Zubrod, 51, passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2018, at his home.

Memorial services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 28, at Butler Volland Chapel in Hastings with Pastor Andrea Paulson officiating. Burial will be held in Assumption Cemetery in Assumption, NE. Memorials may be given to Start Over Rover or Assumption Cemetery Association. There will be no viewing or visitation. Book signing will be 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to service at the funeral home.

Troy was born August 9, 1966, in Red Cloud, NE to Curtis & Mavon (Parr) Zubrod. He was baptized at Assumption Catholic Church. Troy graduated from Roseland High School and attended Southeast Community College in Lincoln.

Troy worked many years as a truck driver, in construction, and for Nebraska Aluminum Castings. He enjoyed watching Husker football, playing cards with family, and hunting.

Troy was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Robin Zubrod.
