Tuongthan N. Ngo

Former Hastings resident Tuongthan N. Ngo, 36, passed away and went to see God and other family on Sunday, January 5, 2025, at his home in Lincoln, NE. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 11, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Hastings with Father Jeremy Hazuka and Father Dominic Phan officiating. Burial will be at Parkview Cemetery in Hastings. Visitation will be 1-7 p.m. with the family present 5-7 p.m. Friday, January 10, at the funeral home, and one hour before the service at the church. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date. 

Tuongthan was born on April 30, 1988, in Vietnam to Vinh Ngo and Nhung T. Nguyen. He graduated from St. Cecilia High School in 2006 and attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for two years. Tuongthan worked in the restaurant business and was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church. He enjoyed playing sports, especially football and basketball.

Tuongthan was preceded in death by his grandparents.
