Twila Soukup

Harvard resident, Twila M. Soukup, 74, of Harvard Nursing Home, died Saturday, December 15, 2007 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.

Services will be Wednesday, December 19, 2007; 10:30 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Rev. John Curtiss officiating. Burial will be in Harvard Cemetery, Harvard, Nebraska. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 18, 2007; 4 P.M.- 8 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the family.

Mrs. Soukup was born April 19, 1933 in Bassett, Nebraska to Charles & Inza Searle. She graduated from Harvard High School on February 17, 1952. She lived in Harvard, Hastings, Texas and returned to Harvard. She was an apartment complex housekeeper in Texas and upon returning to Nebraska, was a housekeeper at the Hastings Regional Center until her retirement. She was involved in MADD, Salvation Army Thrift Store and was a past member of the Eagles. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Soukup was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Anna Marie Rogers and a grandchild, Troy Allen Rogers.
