Vance Croon

Hastings resident, Vance A. Croon, 34, of 619 North 6th Avenue, died Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.

Services will be Saturday, May 23, 2009; 10:30 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Pastor Paul Knott officiating. Burial will be in Juniata Cemetery, Juniata, Nebraska. Visitation will be Friday, May 22, 2009; Noon - 9:00 P.M. with family present from 6:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. and Saturday, May 23, 2009 one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the family.

Mr. Croon was born February 9, 1975 in Hastings, Nebraska to Gary & Paula (Davis) Croon. He graduated from Adams Central High School and worked for Eagle Plastics for 14 years. On May 6, 2000, he married Sarah Redinger in Hastings. He was currently employed with Husker Power Products. He enjoyed cars, tinkering with motors and took pride in the care of his yard. He loved his family, friends, fishing, woodworking and helping others.

Mr. Croon was preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul & Evelyn Davis and Lloyd Levander.
