Velma Buckner

Velma Arlene Buckner, of Perkins Pavilion, died Sunday, October 20, 2002 at Perkins Pavilion.

Services will be Wednesday, October 23, 2002; 11:00 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Rev. Neil Vik officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.

Velma Arlene Buckner was born October 8, 1909 in Fullerton, Nebraska to Henry Otis & Hope (Rawlings) Parvin. On December 18, 1928, she married Harlan Buckner in Fullerton, Nebraska. He preceded her in death on February 27, 1977. She moved from Omaha, Nebraska to Hastings, Nebraska in 1975. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and worked for 20 years at Pooh Corner, retiring in 1994.

Velma Arlene Buckner was preceded in death by her parents, husband, an infant son, 4 sisters and 3 brothers.
