Velma Copple

Hastings resident, Velma Louise Copple, 89, of 2316 West 9th Street ,died Saturday, November 19, 2005, at Edgewood Vista, Hastings, Nebraska.

Services will be Wednesday, November 23, 2005, at 10:30 a.m. at Grace United Methodist Church, Hastings, Nebraska with Rev. Dr. Lee R. Wigert officiating. Burial will be in Blue Valley Cemetery, Ayr, Nebraska.

Mrs. Copple was born August 16, 1916, on a farm near Ayr, Nebraska to Ernest and Amanda (Brown) (Robinson) Druecker. Velma graduated from Ayr High School in 1934. She married Russell K. Copple on September 12, 1942. Upon their marriage they lived on a farm northwest of Hastings. In 1993, they moved to Hastings, Nebraska. She was a loving wife and mother and spent her life caring for her family.

Mrs. Copple was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Ernest Robinson and Clinton Druecker; and sister, Lela Stimbert.

Memorial may be given to Blue Valley Cemetery Association, Ayr, NE

VISITATION: Tuesday: 11-22-05 : 9am - 9 pm with family present from 7 pm - 9 pm. at Butler Volland Funeral Home
Wednesday: 11-23-05: 1 hour prior to service at Grace United Methodist Church.
