Velma Korgan

Former Hastings resident, Velma A. Korgan, 91, of Harvard Rest Haven, died Tuesday, February 19, 2002 at Harvard Rest Haven, Harvard, Nebraska.

Graveside services will be Thursday, February 21; 11:00 A.M. at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Hastings, Nebraska.

Velma A. Korgan was born November 1, 1910 in Eustis, Nebraska to Charles R. & Nellie (Stark) Wyatt. She graduated from Hastings High School and on December 22, 1928, she married Joseph L. Korgan. He preceded her in death on February 1, 1985. She worked at Swift & Company, Dalton Café and Hastings Daily Tribune. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and Zion Lutheran Altar Society.

Velma A. Korgan was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Joseph, an infant daughter, Rosella May and a son, Lowell D. Korgan
