Velma Millard

Hastings resident, Velma L. Millard, 80, of Perkins Pavilion, died Monday, June 15, 2009 at Perkins Pavilion.

Memorial services will be Thursday, June 18, 2009; 10:30 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Rev. Dr. Lee R. Wigert officiating. Interment will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. No viewing or visitation. Memorials may be given to Velma L. Millard Memorial Fund.

Mrs. Millard was born July 4, 1928 in Holbrook, Nebraska to Walter & Mabel (Mills) Nelson. She graduated from high school and married Barney Millard on February 6, 1953. She was a homemaker and a secretary/bookkeeper for Snitker Enterprises.

Mrs. Millard was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and two sisters.
