Vera Ulmer

Former Hastings resident, Vera R. Ulmer, 85, of Beverly Healthcare Lakeview, Grand Island, Nebraska, died Monday, November 17, 2003 at Beverly Healthcare.

Services will be Saturday, November 22, 2003; 10:00 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Rev. Ralph Ford officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.

Vera R. Ulmer was born October 16, 1918 in Reynolds, Nebraska to Tom & Edith (Harrington) Mumby. On January 28, 1948, she married Ruben Ulmer in Hastings, Nebraska and he preceded he in death in 1996. She lived in Hastings from 1947 until 1999 when she moved to Grand Island, Nebraska. She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church, Hastings, Nebraska.

Vera R. Ulmer was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ruben, three sisters, Hazel Mewes, Mildred Fishell and Ivadale Burge and one brother, Delbert Mumby.

Brother: Leonard Mumby - Fall Church, VA

Memorial may be given to the family.

Family present Friday, November 21, from 5-8 P.M.
and 9:00 A.M. to service, Saturday, November 22.
