Verna Hinrichs

Verna M. Hinrichs, 92, of Giltner, Nebraska, died Thursday, November 14, 2002 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.

Services will be Monday, November 18, 2002; 10:30 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Pastor Sacia Vik officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, both in Hastings, Nebraska.

Verna M. Hinrichs was born July 23, 1910 in Clay County, near Glenvil, Nebraska to Matthew & Louise (Ellermeier) Groenewold. She graduated from Glenvil High School and married Wert Hinrichs and he preceded her in death in 1977. She moved from Glenvil, Nebraska to Giltner, Nebraska in 1943. She was a cook for Giltner Public Schools. She was a homemaker and a member of First St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Hastings, Nebraska and Greenwood Club at Giltner, Nebraska.

Verna M. Hinrichs was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Wert, 1 son-in-law, 2 sisters, 1 brother and 1 great grandson.
