Vickie Wood

Hastings resident, Vickie L. (Griffith) Wood, 47, passed away Monday, July 6, 2015 at her home.

Memorial Services will be Thursday, July 9, 2015; 11:00 A.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings with Pastor Steven Markle officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings. Memorials may be given to the family. There will be no viewing or visitation.

Vickie was born July 26, 1967 in Hastings, Nebraska to Tom & Pat Griffith. After graduating from high school Vickie received her Associates Degree in Culinary Arts. She married Scott Wood on March 24, 2006. Vickie was a previous employee of Hastings Regional Center and Fonner Park. She was baptized at St. Michael's Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking, reading, and puzzle books. She loved to crochet and she loved her animals.

Vickie was preceded in death by her grandfather, Vern Gilbert and aunt, Claudia Heil.
