Victoria Ann (Fisk) Nieves

Former Hastings resident Victoria Ann (Fisk) Nieves, 43, passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, NE.

Memorial Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 22, at First Presbyterian Church in Hastings with Rev. Greg Allen-Pickett officiating. There will be no burial held at this time. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church. Memorials may be given to the family for travel and medical costs. Victoria was born February 13, 1982, in Hastings, NE to Ken and Mary Jane (Stewart) Fisk. She graduated from Hastings High School in 2000, received her associate’s degree from Mid-Plains Community College, McCook in 2002, and bachelor’s degree from Hastings College in 2005. Victoria married Joaquin Nieves, the love of her life, on April 13, 2012.

Victoria worked for Papa John’s Pizza, Evelyn’s, Gordmans and Dick’s Sporting Goods in Grand Island, Adidas in Lahaina, HI, and many others. She was a wonderful artist and collected business cards and pennies. Victoria made her home in Hawaii, which was her paradise to escape the cold Nebraska winters.

Victoria was preceded in death by her grandparents, John D. & Cora Stewart, Lavane Fisk, and Ruth & Walt Hoffman.
